According to Denny, MGPA regularly organizes drifting activities about one to two times every month to engage and accommodate drifters from Mataram, Lombok Island, and various regions across West Nusa Tenggara.

“We want to provide a safe space for drifters to channel their hobby. That is why MGPA has prepared a special drifting area behind the paddock of the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit. With this facility available, drifters no longer need to perform drifting activities on public roads,” Denny explained.

NgabubuDrift Volume 2 also demonstrates that The Mandalika is not only a host for various international racing events, but also a venue for creative and inclusive community activities.

He added that the facility also serves as a preventive step to discourage drifting or reckless driving in public spaces such as roundabouts or city streets that could endanger other road users.

“Instead of drifting at roundabouts or in the middle of Mataram, which could be dangerous for the public and road users, we invite them to come to the circuit. Here we provide a safer and controlled environment that is specifically designed for motorsport activities,” he added.

As the time for breaking the fast approached, the drifting activities were temporarily paused, and participants as well as visitors gathered together to break their fast at the circuit area. The moment became an opportunity to share stories, exchange experiences, and strengthen the sense of camaraderie among automotive enthusiasts.

NgabubuDrift Volume 2 also demonstrates that The Mandalika is not only a host for various international racing events, but also a venue for creative and inclusive community activities.

With the high level of enthusiasm from participants, the event is expected to continue becoming an exciting agenda during the month of Ramadan, while further strengthening Mandalika’s position as a hub for automotive activities in Indonesia.
